Glad you picked a nice untainted example of a Northern Marsh! They flourished in Orkney this year but there were many hybrids with spotted leaves (x Heath or Common Spotted), and what I was sure were some examples of a rarer sub-species – also with spotted leaves but in very a different hue. Trouble was, the generally knowledgeable “Orchids of Great Britain” Facebook group disagreed with me!
